Welcome to The Long Way Home.
I’ve never been good at taking shortcuts. I grew up hearing “you always do things the hard way” and honestly…they’re probably still right.
I’ve always been the person who stops to appreciate the view, smells the flowers, starts projects before I really know what I’m doing, asks way too many questions (& never the easy ones), and believes there’s something to learn from every season of life.
Some days will be practical – tips & tricks that make life a little easier or a project that finally came together. Other days it’ll simply be a story – the kind of story worth finishing & lingers with you long after you’ve read the last word.
This little corner of the internet (even though I’d rather be outside than on it) is where I collect those lessons.
So if you don’t mind messy hair, lived-in homes with dirty floors, a little bit of a witchy vibe here and there, and taking the scenic route every now and then, I think you’ll fit right in.
Come with me for quiet mornings and mountain roads, home projects that didn’t go according to plan, adventures outdoors, and the unexpected lessons life teaches along the way.
At its heart, The Long Way Home is about becoming.
Becoming who you’re meant to be.
Learning that growth isn’t always loud, healing isn’t linear, and the scenic route usually has the best view.
So grab a cup of coffee, tea, your favorite drink- or a joint if that’s more your style- put your feet up and come along for the journey.
I’m glad our paths crossed.
